Growing giving with Coca-Cola Europacific Partners

Growing giving with Coca-Cola Europacific Partners

Background

Investing in its local communities has been a long-standing commitment of Coca-Cola around the world.

In 2022, Coca-Cola Europacific Partners - the largest independent bottler of Coca-Cola globally - invested over £1.65m in communities in GB, with almost £200,000 in funds going directly to causes supported and chosen by the business’ employees.

Charities Trust has been proud to help Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) grow its community giving activities since 2018.

A trusted partnership

Prior to 2018, CCEP managed its charitable community giving through manual and procurement designed processes that were cumbersome and slow. This resulted in charities having to wait too long for committed donations in addition to CCEP’s internal team being tied up with administrative tasks.

Charities Trust immediately removed this processing burden, transforming both the speed and efficiency of the giving operation whilst bringing deep governance expertise to ensure compliance and risk control.

Today, the partnership spans payroll giving, match giving, ad-hoc fundraising and a community fund where manufacturing plants receive an amount of money to give to their chosen local charities each year.

Charities Trust's leading charity network alongside its due diligence work ensures that the charities available for employees to support are thoroughly vetted and trusted, giving the CCEP team the confidence to look at new giving initiatives for the future. Plus, Charities Trust’s not-for-profit fees ensure that the amount of money flowing to the chosen causes is always maximised.
