The Telegraph Christmas Charity Appeal now enters its 28th year and we are delighted to work with them again to process the donations from its generous readers.
To date, the appeal has raised millions for a host of deserving causes over the decades. Readers' donations have proved a lifeline to the chosen charities and are a source of great pride to the newspaper.
This year's selected charities are The Firefighters Charity, YoungMinds and Changing Faces.
The Firefighter’s Charity
The Firefighters Charity has been supporting members of the fire and rescue services community for 75 years. From the provision of grants for bereaved families of firefighters killed during the Blitz, to the delivery of personalised programmes of specialist physical and mental health support to over 5,000 people a year today. It is there for the everyday heroes in our fire and rescue service when they are ill, injured or in need of psychological support.
YoungMinds
YoungMinds is the UK’s leading charity fighting for children and young people’s mental health. Turning real-life experiences into positive change, they are leading the fight for a future where all young minds are supported through life, whatever the challenges.
Changing Faces
Changing Faces is the UK’s leading charity for 1.3 million people who have a mark, scar or condition that makes them look different. For over 25 years, they’ve been providing life-changing advice and support for people with a visible difference through our expert counselling and skin camouflage services. They build people’s confidence to live their life on their terms. And challenge prejudice, respect differences and speak to a world that needs to change.
